Okända Kvinnor

Inspired by a series of pressed flowers nearly 100 years old found in the attic of an old school in Ekenäs, Finland. I sought access to Ekenäs Photography Museum Archive and searched for portraits of unnamed women that were taken in the same year as the Herbarium flowers were pressed. Making a collage of these flowers and women somehow paid homage and honoured the archive and beauty of the herbarium itself.
