Contact, from the family Album is a collection of my own family images which, using archival mount board have been reframed so only the details
remaining can be seen. These details are the moments of human contact. Hands grasping, arms hugging around another’s shoulders or intertwined with one another. Detached from the rest of the image and its context these moments of contact seek to questionand reify the importance of the personal image.
